iOS Developer

About the Role

Our US Client with offices present globally is looking for a highly skilled iOS Developer to join our One Design Journey (FB) initiative, focused on delivering a unified, intuitive, and scalable mobile experience across platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with SwiftUI and modern iOS development practices, and will work closely with designers, product managers, and backend engineers to build world-class iOS applications.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications using SwiftUI. Implement reusable UI components aligned with One Design Journey (FB) guidelines and design systems. Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate designs into smooth, pixel-perfect user interfaces. Integrate iOS applications with backend services using RESTful APIs. Ensure application performance, responsiveness, accessibility, and reliability. Follow best practices for iOS architecture, state management, and modular design. Write clean, maintainable, and testable code; participate in code reviews. Identify and fix bugs, performance issues, and UI inconsistencies. Work in an Agile/Scrum environment and contribute to sprint planning and delivery.

Mandatory Skills

Strong hands-on experience with SwiftUI (mandatory). Proficiency in Swift and modern iOS development practices. Experience building production-ready iOS applications using SwiftUI. Strong understanding of iOS frameworks, UI lifecycle, and state management. Experience consuming REST APIs and handling JSON data. Knowledge of version control systems (Git).

Required Skills & Qualifications

5–10 years of experience in iOS application development. Experience with MVVM or similar iOS architectural patterns. Understanding of app performance optimization and memory management. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications. Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience with UIKit alongside SwiftUI. Knowledge of Combine, concurrency (async/await). Exposure to automation testing (XCTest, XCUITest). Experience working with design systems and accessibility standards. Exposure to mobile analytics and crash reporting tools.
