Key Responsibilities /Main Duties of this Position:
- Handling sales of Cashew kernels and sales activity in relevant customer segments to attain sustainability of sales by building long term relationship with buyers.
- To develop wholesalers’, Traders, and Institutional buyer channels in north India market
- Good knowledge of cashew kernel seasons in the north markets.
- Dissemination of market information and intelligence to sales manager/ local management.
- Completion of sales targets and monthly achievements.
- Establishing and maintaining relationships with current and potential clients.
- Interacting with clients regularly to build rapport, identify needs, and close deals.
- Identifies key customers and keeps up-to-date records (contact, data, projects…) of all current customers and prospective customers, new sales opportunities, and generating interest in products or services.
- To prepare reports and presentation related to sales.
- Interchanging market info and good relationship with clients regularly to build confidence and identifying the requirements, closing the sales.
- Co-ordination with other departments and for smooth dispatches.
- Good rapport with current and key potential clients.
- Timely review sales orders and execution deliveries to the co-sale team.
- Responsible for having a smooth communication and understanding of all payments
Terms and execution of orders.
Communicating and Reporting
- Provide timely updates/ feedback, trends & changes in the domestic market to Sales manager.
- Communicate all deliveries, timing, volumes customers. Provide weekly update to Sales manager on planned versus shipped and material in transit.
- Provide pricing analysis and recommendations to sales manager/local management Monitor customer feedback and respond to pricing inquiries.
- Maintenance of weekly and monthly reports to share across management.
- Maintain an organized filing system for all pricing, sales, and activity reports.
- Collaboration with other teams, QA, Quality & Production departments to secure customer needs.
Compliance
- Ensure that all business activity is conducted in an ethical manner.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and business codes of conduct and ensure. that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
- Proactively support company compliance with Health and Safety legislation.
- Compliance with contract /PO policy.
- To adhere with the company SOP’s.
Requirement
- 4–5-year experience in Food/Agri commodities sales with at least 2 years in edible nuts in North India. (Mumbai or Rajasthan)
- UG: Any Graduate - Any Specialization PG: MBA/PGDM.
- Good team player with Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office. (Excel, PowerPoint, Advanced Excel knowledge would be an added advantage)
- Team Player.
- Good communication skills and fluency in Hindi & English any other languages added advantage.
- Loyal, liable, integrity is key.
- Research / Information Gathering.
- Critical Thinking / Problem Solving.
- Keen to learn and market intelligence updates.
