Reporting To: Managing Director / CEO
Role Purpose
The Head of Exports / International Business will lead the global commercial strategy for
the Frozen Potato & Ready-to-Eat (RTE) Snacks category.
This role is responsible for driving:
Mandatory Industry Background
Candidates must have prior working experience in one or more of the following companies:
McCain Foods
HyFun Foods
Iscon Balaji Foods
Falcon / Other leading Frozen Potato manufacturers
Experience specifically in Frozen Potato / French Fries / Frozen Snacks Export Sales is
compulsory.
Experience Profile (Mandatory)
12 – 15 years of proven experience in Export Sales for Frozen Potatoes / Frozen
Snacks.
Must possess a live and active buyer network across global markets.
Strong understanding of:
o Global demand patterns
o Competitor strategies
o International pricing models
o Import regulations and duty structures
Ability to build new markets and drive sales through distributors, importers, and
HORECA aggregators.
Global Network Requirement
The candidate must already have active buyer relationships in the following regions:
GCC
UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Oman, Kuwait, Bahrain
MENA
Egypt, Jordan, Morocco, Algeria, Iraq
APAC
Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Japan, Australia
EU
Germany, France, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Poland
Africa
South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, Ghana, Tanzania

1. P&L & Financial Management
Deliver Export P&L: Revenue, Gross Margin & Mix Optimization
Define pricing architecture (CNF / CIF / FOB) based on duties, freight & FX
2. Market Expansion & GTM Strategy
Develop regional GTM strategies for priority countries
Drive country launches and establish presence in new geographies
3. Channel & Distributor Management
Appoint and manage distributors
Handle high-value negotiations with importers, retailers & HORECA consolidators
4. Category & Competitive Benchmarking
Track competitor pricing, pack strategy & positioning (McCain / HyFun benchmark)
5. Export Operations & Compliance
Ensure full compliance for:
o BRC
o Halal Certification
o Product specifications
o HS Code: 2004.10
Govern COO, COA, BL, Invoice, Packing List & Health Certificates
6. Logistics & Documentation
Engage with:
o CHA
o Forwarders
o Shipping lines
7. Global Representation
Represent the company at international trade shows & category fairs
8. Team Leadership
Build, mentor, and lead a high-performance international sales team
