We are seeking an experienced

Project Manager with strong expertise in AWS and Java-based applications

to lead end-to-end delivery of cloud-native and enterprise application projects. The ideal candidate should have solid technical understanding along with proven project management capabilities in handling large-scale, multi-stakeholder environments. More details as below.

Location : India (Remote) Shift- Malaysia (6.30 am - 3.30 pm IST - Remote) Type : Contract ( 6 to 8 months, extendable) Experience : 12+ years Should be open to travel to Malaysia for 2 to 3 weeks during te tenure when needed

Required Skills & Qualifications 12+ years of IT experience with minimum 8+ years in Project Management. Strong background in

Java application development

(Spring, Microservices). Hands-on experience managing projects on

AWS Cloud . Good understanding of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and container technologies. Experience in Agile, Scrum, or hybrid methodologies. Strong risk management and stakeholder communication skills. Excellent leadership and decision-making abilities. Preferred Qualifications PMP / PRINCE2 / Scrum Master certification. AWS certification (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer preferred). Experience in enterprise or large-scale transformation projects.

Key Responsibilities : Lead end-to-end project lifecycle (initiation to closure) for AWS and Java-based application projects. Define project scope, timelines, budgets, and resource planning. Ensure delivery within agreed cost, quality, and schedule parameters. Manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests effectively. Drive Agile/Scrum or Waterfall methodologies as applicable. Oversee architecture and deployment of Java applications on AWS. Work closely with technical teams on: Java (Spring Boot, Microservices) REST APIs Database integrations CI/CD pipelines Containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) Ensure best practices in cloud security, scalability, and performance optimization. Manage AWS environments including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, etc. Ensure compliance with cloud governance and security standards. Monitor cloud cost optimization and performance. Act as primary point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders. Conduct regular status meetings, reporting, and executive updates. Align technical delivery with business objectives. Lead cross-functional teams including developers, architects, QA, and DevOps. Mentor team members and ensure high performance and accountability. Coordinate with offshore/onshore teams if applicable.
