Senior Architect

At AV*ARC the Senior Architects core responsibilities will include- Understanding the Project Brief, the Clients Requirements and Ideas, Setting in place the Design Narrative of the Project, and Presenting the final Ideas through a set of coordinated Photo Realistic 3ds Renders, Rendered Floor Plans and Schematic Elevations, Material Boards and Concept Presentations, . The role is Client Facing and requires Creativity as well the Technical Knowhow that relates to Architecture and Interior Design.

Role Requirements: A Degree in either Architecture or Interior Design with a minimum of 5 years of Work Experience Ability to Generate Cohesive and Well Researched Design Narratives/Concepts An Ability to think Creatively and Artistically. An ability to rationalize Color, Texture, Pattern and Form. An Ability to Read and Create/Allocate through execution, Architectural Plans and Elevations. An Ability to Present Complex Design related Ideas and Concepts to Clients. An Ability to Communicate Effectively and with Clarity, both verbally and in writing, with Clients, External Consultants, Vendors and Other Service Providers, Ability to handle Multiple Projects with varying complexities. An Ability to Develop & Mentor Team Members. An Ability to effectively plan and meet deadlines for deliverables. An eye for Detail and Quality Output.

KEY TASKS Client Management Project Execution Team Lead

PROJECT EXECUTION · Participate and collaborate in the design process along with the Creative Director · Generate and Supervise drawings & all related documentation to ensure delivery milestones and execution of projects · Responsible for day –to-day running of the project and accountable for project delivery as per timelines. · Take ownership and have a ‘hands on’ approach to deliver on set targets for the project, maintaining profitability of the project. · Align with Team lead to contribute to Team Targets beyond the scope of their individual projects. · Ensure milestones of Delivery are met to fulfill requirements & achieve all “Stage Sign offs” from Client for relevant stages. · Administering the on-site execution, adherence to the Budgets · Prepares and coordinates the review of Consultant’s schedules, integrates their inputs with overall project timelines. · Preparation of the Bill of Quantity / CAPEX, consulting with manufacturers, evaluating and selecting project related materials · Drive meetings on-site or off-site as required to review project progress, prototypes and resolution of all Project related aspects during the Construction Stages. · Ensure Project documentation for Archives, Profile Presentations and Marketing.

COMMUNICATION · Ability to make effective presentations to clients to communicate the design intent. · Understand the Client’s objectives for their project and manage client expectations by timely and effective communications such as Weekly / Monthly Project progress updates and taking necessary approvals on any changes during the Construction Stages. · Clearly setting out the expectations amongst Internal Team Members and the External consultants involved in the project. · Being Responsible for communicating any concerns / grievances / suggestions to the appropriate levels such as Team lead or One of the Principals at the immediate instant. · Co-ordinate and give clear inputs to consultants and vendors on project assignments, changes if any and track resolutions. · Evaluate project impacts and escalate issues and risk appropriately to the Team leader / Principal.
