Odoo Technical Consultant

Job Summary RIBS Digital Solutions is hiring an

Odoo Technical Consultant cum Odoo Apps Trainer

to support Odoo ERP implementations and deliver user training for Odoo applications. This role is customer-facing and requires strong coordination with functional consultants and end users to ensure successful adoption of Odoo systems. An

accounting background is an added advantage , but not mandatory. The ideal candidate is comfortable explaining Odoo workflows clearly, supporting configuration, troubleshooting common issues, and building training programs that improve user confidence and adoption.

Key Responsibilities A) Customer Training & Enablement (Primary) Deliver

role-based Odoo Apps training

for customers (end users, supervisors, and department users). Create and maintain

training materials : user guides, SOPs, quick reference sheets, slide decks, and training videos (optional). Conduct

training needs analysis , user skill assessments, and training calendars based on project timelines. Support customers during

UAT, go-live, and post-go-live

by guiding users on correct process execution. Collect feedback from users and coordinate with functional teams to improve workflows, usability, and adoption.

B) Functional & Customer Coordination (High Focus) Work closely with the

functional consulting team

to understand configured processes and translate them into user-friendly training. Participate in requirement and process discussions to understand real operational use cases. Act as a bridge between customer users and internal teams by reporting issues clearly and ensuring timely resolution. Provide first-level functional guidance to users on day-to-day Odoo usage and best practices.

C) Technical Support & Configuration Assistance (Secondary) Support Odoo implementation teams with

basic technical troubleshooting , environment checks, and issue analysis. Assist with configuration validation and functional testing support (as required). Coordinate with developers/technical team for bug fixes and enhancements by providing structured reproduction steps and user impact details. Support data imports (templates, validation checks) and basic migration assistance.

Required Skills & Experience 3+ years of experience with

Odoo ERP

(implementation support, training, support, or consulting). Strong communication and presentation skills for

customer training and enablement . Good understanding of business workflows (Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting basics, HR, or Operations). Ability to create structured documentation and training assets with attention to detail. Strong coordination skills with customers and internal functional teams. Comfortable with troubleshooting and explaining system usage in a simple and practical way.

Added Advantage (Not Mandatory) Basic accounting knowledge or experience working with

Accounting / Invoicing

processes. Experience training customers on

Odoo Accounting

module, taxes, invoices, payments, and reporting.

Preferred / Nice-to-Have Experience in

UAT support, go-live support, and user adoption programs . Familiarity with Odoo modules such as Accounting, Sales, CRM, Purchase, Inventory, Projects, HR. Basic understanding of

Odoo technical concepts

(server logs, user access rights, workflows, Studio customizations). Experience creating professional training content (PowerPoint, SOPs, LMS content, or knowledge base articles).

Tools & Technologies Odoo ERP (Community/Enterprise), MS Office / Google Workspace, documentation tools (Word/Docs), ticketing tools (as applicable), basic Excel templates for data import.
