The Role:
We are looking for a specialized PreSales Consultant for our Loan Origination System (LOS) who will work in close collaboration with the sales team to architect lending solutions and drive business closures across Banks, NBFCs, HFCs, Microfinance Institutions, and FinTech Lenders. This role is critical as it will directly impact sales, revenue, customer acquisition in the lending vertical, and customer satisfaction.
The ideal candidate will possess deep understanding of end-to-end loan origination processes, credit evaluation workflows, regulatory compliance requirements, and lending ecosystem integrations
Key Responsibilities :
Lending Solution Design & Demonstrations
Present and demonstrate LeadSquared LOS capabilities including lead management, loan application processing, credit evaluation, document verification, sanction & disbursement workflows to all stakeholders at prospect/customer organizations
Conduct comprehensive product demonstrations covering sourcing channels (DSA/connector management), customer onboarding (KYC/eKYC), credit decisioning (bureau integration, credit scoring), technical/legal verification, sanction processing, and disbursement management
Showcase mobile applications for field agents, DSA partner portals, customer self-service portals, and branch user interfaces
Demonstrate integration capabilities with CBS, LMS, payment gateways, credit bureaus, eSign, eNACH, and other lending ecosystem partners
Proposal Development & RFP Response
Create comprehensive solution documents and business proposals specifically for lending use cases across retail loans, MSME loans, affordable housing finance, vehicle finance, personal loans, and microfinance
Respond to RFQs/RFPs from Banks, NBFCs, and financial institutions with detailed functional responses, system architecture diagrams, and integration approaches
Develop quick proof-of-concepts showcasing specific lending workflows, custom credit policies, and automated decisioning rules
Create effort estimation documents with implementation timelines for LOS deployments
Lending Domain Expertise
Gain thorough understanding of various loan products - Home Loans, LAP, Personal Loans, Business Loans, Vehicle Loans, Gold Loans, Education Loans, and Microfinance products
Understand regulatory compliance requirements including RBI guidelines, Fair Practice Code, PMAY schemes, government subsidy integrations, and reporting requirements
Stay updated on lending industry trends, digital lending guidelines, account aggregator framework, and emerging fintech innovations
Understand credit evaluation methodologies, risk assessment frameworks, credit scoring models, and underwriting best practices
Integration & Technology Landscape
Understand the software and technology ecosystem of lending institutions including CBS (Finacle, Flexcube, Bancs, etc.), LMS platforms, credit bureaus (CIBIL, Experian, Equifax, CRIF), payment systems, and eSign/eKYC providers
Design optimal integration approaches for connecting LeadSquared LOS with core banking systems, third-party APIs, and lending ecosystem partners
Create integration architecture diagrams, API mapping documents, and data flow specifications
Assess technical feasibility of custom requirements and collaborate with product/technology teams for solution delivery
Stakeholder Collaboration
Collaborate closely with Business Heads, CXOs, IT Heads, Credit Heads, Operations Heads, and Branch Managers at prospect organizations to understand their lending processes and pain points
Work with sales team, product management, technology teams, delivery teams, and partner teams to create winning proposals
Provide continuous feedback to product development teams on market requirements, competition features, and customer expectations in the lending space
Engage with technology vendors, fintech partners, and third-party solution providers to drive innovations and create upsell/cross-sell opportunities
Competitive Intelligence & Market Research
Maintain comprehensive knowledge of LOS competition including Salesforce Financial Services Cloud, Newgen, FinnOne, CloudBankin, Lentra, Nucleus, and other regional players
Understand competitive positioning, pricing models, and unique differentiators of LeadSquared LOS
Provide market intelligence on emerging trends in digital lending, AI/ML in credit decisioning, and automation opportunities
Customer Success & Relationship Management
Support implementation teams during customer onboarding with solution handover and knowledge transfer
Build strong relationships with clients and continuously explore upsell opportunities for additional modules, integrations, or managed services
Participate in knowledge sharing sessions and training programs for internal teams, partners, and DSA networks
Become the go-to lending domain expert and trusted advisor for the sales team
Requirements :
Education & Experience
Engineering degree (preferably Computer Science) with MBA (Sales/Marketing/Finance) preferred
5-7 years of experience in PreSales role within lending/BFSI domain
Prior experience with LOS platforms or lending software implementations would be highly preferred
Experience in Banks, NBFCs, HFCs, or FinTech lending companies would be a strong advantage
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi
Outstanding presentation and demonstration skills with ability to engage CXO-level stakeholders
Strong business acumen with commercial understanding and contract negotiation skills
Excellent aptitude and analytical thinking for solving complex lending use cases
Quick prototyping skills to create custom demos and proof-of-concepts
Passionate about customer-facing roles and building long-term relationships
Self-motivated with ability to work in fast-paced startup environment
Excellent work ethics with collaborative team player mindset
Lending Domain Knowledge (Essential)
Strong understanding of end-to-end loan origination processes from lead capture to disbursement
Knowledge of various loan products and their specific underwriting requirements
Understanding of credit evaluation processes, risk assessment, and credit policies
Awareness of regulatory compliance including RBI guidelines, KYC norms, and Fair Practice Code
Familiarity with lending ecosystem including credit bureaus, CBS platforms, LMS solutions, and payment systems
Technical & Solution Skills
Knowledge of SaaS-based LOS platforms and cloud delivery models
Understanding of API-based integrations, webhooks, and middleware platforms
Knowledge of credit bureau integrations (CIBIL, Experian, Equifax)
Familiarity with eSign, eKYC, Aadhaar-based authentication, and digital verification services
Understanding of workflow automation, business rules engine, and credit decisioning automation
Knowledge of AI/ML applications in lending (credit scoring, fraud detection, propensity modeling) would be a plus
