Role Summary
The Infrastructure Transformation Lead is responsible for driving modernization and optimization of the enterprise infrastructure landscape, including datacenter, cloud, network, workplace, security, and IT operations. This role provides strategic leadership, oversees transformation initiatives, ensures alignment with business goals, and delivers improved resilience, performance, security, and cost efficiency across the IT environment
Key Responsibilities
1. Transformation Strategy & Roadmap
Define and execute Infrastructure Transformation Roadmap covering cloud adoption, modernization, automation, and operational excellence.
Assess current-state architecture and define target-state models aligned with business objectives.
Lead cost optimization, scalability, resiliency, and performance improvement initiatives.
2. Program Leadership
Lead end-to-end planning and delivery of infrastructure transformation programs.
Drive cross-functional and multi-vendor coordination to implement new technologies.
Crate and Monitor project milestones, risks, dependencies, budgets, and governance.
Create presentation on transformation roadmap and liaison directly with customer IT Director and Transformation lead
3. Cloud & Datacenter Modernization
Lead datacenter consolidation, cloud migration, hybrid cloud enablement, and infrastructure-as-code adoption.
Champion standards for AWS/Azure/GCP, virtualization, storage, and compute platforms.
4. Network & Security Transformation
Modernize enterprise network (SD-WAN, LAN/WLAN, Zero Trust, segmentation).
Partner with security teams to align transformation work with cyber frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001, CIS).
5. Workplace & End-User Services Modernization
Drive transformation of digital workplace solutions including M365, collaboration tools, VDI, endpoint management (Intune/SCCM), and employee experience platforms.
Improve device lifecycle, automation, self-service, and experience monitoring.
6. Operational Excellence
Implement automation, AIOps, observability, CMDB enhancements, and SRE practices.
Standardize ITIL-based processes across Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, Assets, and Knowledge Management.
Drive SLA adherence, performance improvements, and service maturity uplift.
7. Stakeholder Management & Communication
Collaborate with CIO, business units, and technical teams to ensure transformation alignment.
Produce executive dashboards, business cases, ROI models, and transformation updates.
Manage partner and vendor relationships to ensure optimal outcomes.
Required Skills & Experience
10–12 years of experience in Infrastructure, Cloud, or IT Operations.
Proven leadership in infrastructure modernization or transformation programs.
Strong knowledge of:
Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP)
Datacenter technologies (VMware, Storage, Backups)
Networking (SD-WAN, security, routing)
Workplace & endpoint management
Automation & DevOps practices
ITSM / ITIL frameworks
Strong program management and stakeholder communication skills.
Ability to design future-state architectures and drive change across distributed teams.
Preferred Qualifications
Certifications: Azure Architect, AWS Solutions Architect, CCNP/CCIE, ITIL Expert, TOGAF, PMP/Prince2.
Experience with multi-country rollouts or large enterprise environments.
Vendor and budget management experience.
