Design Engineer

We are seeking a motivated AV CAD Drafter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience creating 2D/3D drawings and AV flow diagrams and will work closely with project managers and clients to deliver precise and timely documentation.

Responsibilities:

Engage with clients to understand project scope and translate requirements into 2D/REVIT drawings. Use AutoCAD and Revit to develop Audio-Visual layouts, riser diagrams, and detailed architectural drawing sets. Review design inputs to convert them into clear and structured AV system diagrams. Estimate drafting labor time based on project information and client inputs. Collaborate with engineers and project leads to ensure accuracy and timely delivery of drawings. Revise and update drawings as per client or project requirements. Maintain organized documentation of projects and revisions.

Required Candidate Profile:

B.E. in Mechanical or equivalent technical field (preferred but not required) 1+ year of experience in drafting/design engineering or related role Proficiency in Autodesk tools, specifically AutoCAD and Revit Strong understanding of architectural and AV system drawings Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities Effective written and verbal communication skills Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

Nice to Have:

Prior experience in the Audio-Visual industry Familiarity with AV system components and signal flow
