Full Stack Developer

Company Overview Avero Advisors is a fast-growing public sector consulting firm headquartered in the United States. We specialize in advising state and local governments on technology modernization, business process reengineering, and IT governance. Our India office supports critical functions such as RFP development, research, data analysis, software development, and project management support.

Role Description We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer with 5+ years of hands-on experience designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications. The ideal candidate has strong expertise across both front-end and back-end technologies, thrives in collaborative environments, and is passionate about delivering high-quality, maintainable code.

This role requires a strong understanding of modern development frameworks, API design, database architecture, cloud platforms, and DevOps best practices.

Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications across the full technology stack Build responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces Develop robust, secure, and high-performance back-end services and APIs Collaborate with product managers, designers, and cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and reliability Implement security and data protection best practices Participate in code reviews and maintain coding standards Troubleshoot, debug, and enhance existing systems Contribute to architecture decisions and technical strategy Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes

Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) 5+ years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React, Angular, or Vue.js Strong experience in back-end development using: Node.js, .NET, Java, or Python Experience building RESTful APIs and microservices Solid understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB) Experience with version control systems such as Git Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Preferred Qualifications Experience with modern architectural patterns such as microservices or serverless Knowledge of testing frameworks and automated testing Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments Exposure to security best practices and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, SSO) Experience with performance monitoring and logging tools
