This is a full-time on-site role based in Bengaluru for a

Senior Cost Manager – Civil (Pre-Contract) . The role involves leading the financial and commercial aspects of projects during the pre-contract stage, including: Leading detailed

project budgeting and cost planning

from concept to detailed design stages Overseeing preparation and review of

BoQs for civil and structural works Conducting feasibility studies, cost benchmarking, and financial analysis Driving value engineering and cost optimization initiatives Identifying commercial risks and advising on mitigation strategies Leading tender documentation, bid evaluations, and commercial negotiations Reviewing contractor submissions and preparing comparative statements Coordinating with architects, structural engineers, MEP consultants, and internal stakeholders Presenting cost reports and strategic recommendations to clients and senior management The Senior Cost Manager will play a key leadership role in ensuring projects are financially viable, commercially structured, and aligned with client objectives. Qualifications

10–15 years of experience in

Pre-Contract Cost Management / Quantity Surveying Strong expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, cost planning, and BoQ development Proven exposure to Residential, Commercial, Masterplan, and Mixed-Use projects Strong commercial judgement and risk assessment capability Experience in tender preparation, bid evaluation, and contract review processes Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and leadership skills Proficiency in relevant cost management tools and advanced Excel Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering / Quantity Surveying
