Job Overview
This is a senior technical leadership role for Tamer Group, sitting within the IT function, specifically under Enterprise Applications. The person in this role owns everything related to Oracle‘s warehouse and transportation management systems, from initial implementation and configuration through to day-to-day support, optimization, and continuous improvement. Given the Oracle Fusion Cloud stack and integration complexity involved, this is a highly specialized profile that blends deep technical Oracle expertise with strong operational and stakeholder management capability.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Oracle Fusion WMS Implementation & Optimization
Lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle Fusion Cloud WMS, including design, configuration, testing, training, and go-live support.
Ensure alignment with business requirements, industry best practices, and integration with Fusion ERP, OTM, and other supply chain systems.
Drive continuous improvement and system optimization post-implementation.
2. Oracle OTM & Integration Management
Configure and support Oracle Transportation Management (OTM) for shipment planning, execution, and freight settlement.
Utilize Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) to develop and maintain integrations between WMS, OTM, ERP, and third-party logistics platforms.
Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure data integrity across systems.
3. Application Support & Administration
Provide day-to-day support for WMS and OTM users, including issue resolution, system enhancements, and access management.
Oversee system maintenance, upgrades, patches, and regression testing.
4. Data Management & Reporting
Ensure accuracy and consistency of data across WMS, OTM, and ERP platforms.
Develop dashboards and reports to monitor warehouse KPIs, order processing, and logistics performance.
5. Warehouse Automation & Process Optimization
Identify opportunities to automate warehouse and logistics workflows using
RFID , barcode scanning, and other technologies.
Implement best practices in inventory accuracy, cycle counting, space utilization, and order fulfillment.
6. Compliance, Security & Documentation
Ensure system compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
Implement role-based security and maintain thorough system documentation to ensure audit readiness.
7. Stakeholder Collaboration & Training
Serve as the IT liaison to supply chain, operations, and logistics teams.
Provide training and documentation to end users and super users.
Manage vendor relationships and external partners for support and system enhancements.
8. Innovation & Continuous Improvement
Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in WMS, OTM, and warehouse automation.
Lead system upgrade and enhancement projects to increase efficiency and reduce cost.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Computer Science, or a related field.
Master’s degree or relevant certifications (Oracle Cloud WMS, OTM, or related) are a plus.
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of hands-on experience with WMS solutions; at least 3 years in Oracle Fusion Cloud WMS implementations.
Proven experience with OTM and Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC).
Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory control, and logistics workflows.
Experience integrating WMS with ERP (Fusion or EBS) and TMS platforms.
Technical Skills
Oracle Applications: Oracle Fusion Cloud WMS (required), Oracle EBS WMS (preferred), Oracle Transportation Management (preferred).
Integration Tools: Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), APIs, EDI, middleware.
Automation Technologies: RFID, barcode scanners, robotics (preferred).
Reporting: SQL, BI tools (Power BI, Oracle Analytics Cloud).
