About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Chinese Translator (Mandarin–English) to support our operations in the Li-Ion battery industry in India. The role involves real-time interpretation, document translation, and coordination between Chinese and Indian teams to ensure smooth technical and business communication.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide oral interpretation (Mandarin ↔ English) during meetings, factory visits, training sessions, and technical discussions. - Translate technical documents, SOPs, manuals, contracts, and emails. - Assist Chinese technical experts and management teams in daily communication. - Support production, engineering, procurement, and quality teams with accurate translations. - Maintain confidentiality of technical and business information.

Requirements

- Fluency in Mandarin Chinese and English (spoken and written). - Prior experience in manufacturing, engineering, or Li-Ion battery industry preferred. - Strong understanding of technical terminology. - Willingness to work on-site in India. - Good interpersonal and coordination skills.

Contract Details

- Fixed-term contract: 1 year (extendable based on performance and project requirements). - Competitive salary based on experience
