Job Description
We are seeking a
dynamic and experienced Senior Analyst – Third Party Risk Management (TPRM)
to strengthen our organization’s oversight of third‑party partners. In this role, you will evaluate, monitor, and mitigate risks associated with vendors, service providers, and strategic partners. You will help ensure compliance with internal controls, regulatory requirements, and industry standards—playing a critical role in safeguarding our operational, financial, information security, and reputational integrity.
Third‑Party Resilience & BCP/DR
Maintain an inventory of critical third‑party vendors and systems supporting key business processes.
Perform vendor BCP/DR and operational resilience assessments, including review of BIAs, RTOs, RPOs, recovery strategies, DR architecture, and exercise/test results.
Assess vendor recovery capabilities against internal standards and document gaps and risk exposure.
Track remediation commitments and follow up on vendor action plans.
Third‑Party Risk Assessment & Assurance
Conduct third‑party vendor risk assessments covering operational, technology, and resilience risks arising from vendor engagements.
Review and interpret independent assurance reports (e.g., SOC 1 / SOC 2, ISO certifications, BCP test summaries) to evaluate control design and effectiveness.
Identify inherent and residual risks, document findings, and support risk acceptance or escalation decisions.
Business Disruption & Dependency Risk
Identify vendor concentration risk, dependency risks, and single points of failure supporting critical services.
Assist in assessing potential business disruption scenarios from vendor outages, control failures, or external events.
Participate in scenario analysis, tabletop exercises, and resilience testing involving third‑party failures.
Governance, Reporting & Stakeholder Engagement
Support third‑party risk governance activities, including preparation of inputs for management and risk committee reporting.
Produce clear, concise, risk‑based assessment reports summarizing vendor risks, assurance gaps, and remediation status.
Engage with vendors, procurement, legal, and business owners during onboarding, renewals, and material vendor changes.
Support contractual requirements related to BCP/DR, audit rights, and transparency of vendor controls.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree with 3–5 years of experience in:
Third‑Party / Vendor Risk Management
Operational Resilience,
BCP/DR , or Technology Risk
Hands‑on experience:
Reviewing and assessing
SOC reports
and third‑party assurance artifacts
Performing vendor risk assessments and documenting findings
Evaluating vendor
BCP/DR
and resilience capabilities
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present risk in business‑relevant terms.
Preferred Certifications
CTPRA / CTPRP – Certified Third‑Party Risk Assessor / Professional
CRISC – Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control
CBCP – Certified Business Continuity Professional
CISA – Certified Information Systems Auditor (useful for SOC report review)
ISO 22301 Foundation / Internal Auditor (preferred)
