Azure DevOps & Atlassian Migration Engineer

to lead and execute the migration of Jira Service Desk, Jira Software, and Confluence to Microsoft and Azure-based platforms.

Key Responsibilities

Atlassian to TOE Migration Analyze existing

Jira Software configurations , including: Custom fields, workflows, boards, permissions, and sprint structures Design and implement migration strategies using

Solidify migration tools

to: Azure DevOps Boards Azure DevOps process templates Azure DevOps Test Plans Automation & Scripting Develop and execute

custom scripts/tools

to: Extract data from Jira and Confluence Transform data to match Azure DevOps schemas Import data while maintaining integrity and history Validation & Data Integrity Ensure full

traceability of work items , sprints, and historical data post-migration Collaborate with: Project managers Developers Business stakeholders Validate migrated workflows, boards, and reports Troubleshoot and resolve migration issues efficiently Documentation & Enablement Document: Migration approach Tools used Known limitations and resolutions Provide

training, guidance, and post-migration support

to end users

Mandatory Skills Azure DevOps

(Boards, Repos, Pipelines, Wiki, Test Plans) Logic Apps / Power Automate / Power Apps Scripting experience

(PowerShell, Python, or equivalent) Atlassian Jira Software

(advanced configuration & workflows) Data migration and automation experience
