About the Role

We are looking for Production Engineering professional having passion to excellence in leading the production engineering function in Weld shop department.

Responsibilities

- Weld Process Engineering: Kaizen in existing process, Line trial for new Model introduction - Weld shop layout preparation, Jig Planning sheet preparation for new jigs, modification jigs - Validation of Cycle Time of each station during Line trial - Confirmation of Spot Positions & Weld Quality by performing destructive & Non-Destructive test. - Prepare Robot teaching plan for spot position accuracy in trial - Local Equipment plan and spec sheet preparation and procurement - Line tact up plan preparation and robot teaching - Carry out trial and validation for pallet, trolley for material handling - Installation and commissioning of Jigs, equipment, line as per schedule - Prepare nugget sheet, drawings for weld body destructive test. - Update new weld parameters to controller for new model, RM change trial

Qualifications

- B.E./B.Tech. Mechanical Engineering - 6 to 8 years of experience in Production Engineering department - Preference will be given to the candidates from Auto OEM companies - 4/2 wheelers

Required Skills

- Welding Process Engineering - Basics of Jigs and Fixtures - Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing - PPAP - ISO 9001 Quality systems - Machine design fundamentals - 3D software working experience (NX/ CATIA) - AutoCAD is preferable
