Mechanical Engineering Intern

Job Title: Mechanical Engineer Intern – Product Assembly & Testing. Department: Product Development / Engineering

About the Role We are looking for a motivated Mechanical Engineer Intern to support our product assembly and testing activities. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy hands-on work, working in workshop environments, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including electronics and testing engineers.

Key Responsibilities Assist in product assembly as per engineering guidelines and drawings

Inspect and verify individual modules to ensure proper functionality

Support the team in product testing and validation activities

Work closely with electronics and product testing teams for integration and troubleshooting

Maintain workshop tools and ensure safe handling practices

Document assembly processes and testing observations

Required Skills & Qualifications Pursuing or recently completed Diploma / Bachelor’s in Mechanical Engineering

Good knowledge of tool handling and workshop practices

Basic understanding of CAD design

Familiarity with Fusion 360 (basic modelling and drawing knowledge required)

Strong communication skills

Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams

Attention to detail and problem-solving mindset

Preferred Skills (Optional but Good to Have) Experience with prototype assembly

Exposure to product development environments

Understanding of mechanical tolerances and fits
