Role Overview

This is a

B2C admissions and inside sales role

focused on counseling prospective students and guiding them through professional upskilling programs. The role involves working with qualified leads, understanding career goals, providing program guidance, and converting inquiries into enrollments through consultative counseling and structured follow-ups. You will manage the complete admissions lifecycle—from initial inquiry to enrollment confirmation and onboarding support.

Key Responsibilities

Handle inbound and outbound student inquiries via calls, WhatsApp, email, Zoom, and in-person counseling sessions. Provide one-to-one academic counseling and career guidance to students and working professionals. Clearly explain program curriculum, learning outcomes, eligibility, schedules, fees, and career support services. Understand candidate goals and recommend suitable programs across data science, AI, finance, cybersecurity, and analytics domains. Qualify leads and manage structured follow-ups throughout the admissions funnel. Convert warm leads into enrollments using consultative selling and objection-handling techniques. Manage the end-to-end admissions process, including documentation and onboarding coordination. Maintain accurate records of student interactions, follow-ups, and conversion status in CRM systems. Achieve defined monthly enrollment and conversion targets. Collaborate with marketing, academic, and operations teams to improve student experience and lead quality. Participate in webinars, information sessions, open houses, and counseling events. Stay updated on industry trends, certifications, and career pathways to provide informed guidance.

Required Qualification & Skills:

1–4 years of experience in EdTech admissions, academic counseling, inside sales, or B2C sales roles. Strong communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills. Comfortable working in a target-driven environment. Ability to understand candidate needs and guide decision-making professionally. Experience using CRM or lead management tools is preferred. Candidates from coaching institutes, training academies, or online education platforms are encouraged to apply.
