About the Role
We are building a 360-degree early childhood development platform supporting families of children aged 0–3 years through structured learning modules, coaching, digital tracking, and guided home environments.
We are looking for a
Developmental Pediatrician
to anchor clinical accuracy, strengthen developmental screening frameworks, and guide intervention pathways for families requiring deeper support.
This is not a routine OPD role.
This is a systems-building, parent-facing, and protocol-design role.
Key Responsibilities
1. Developmental Framework & Screening
Review and validate milestone frameworks aligned with:
World Health Organization (WHO developmental indicators)
UNICEF early childhood guidance
American Academy of Pediatrics surveillance guidelines
Strengthen red-flag identification protocols (motor, language, social-emotional, sensory).
Guide referral pathways (speech therapy, OT, physiotherapy, neurology, etc.)
2. Parent-Facing Education
Conduct structured live sessions for parents (sleep, feeding, motor delays, screen exposure, regulation).
Co-create video modules on:
Early brain development
When to worry vs when to observe
Understanding “late bloomer” vs developmental delay
Review scripts for medical accuracy (non-clinical, parent-friendly tone).
3. Case Review & Escalation Support
Offer periodic review of flagged developmental cases.
Design decision trees for escalation:
Monitor
Home program
Specialist referral
Support child development coaches with supervision guidelines.
4. Systems & AI Integration (High-Leverage Role)
Help structure:
Developmental data inputs
Red flag logic
Escalation thresholds
Contribute to building a structured knowledge base for AI-assisted parent guidance (without replacing medical judgment).
Ideal Candidate
MD/DNB Pediatrics with Fellowship in Developmental Pediatrics
Experience in early intervention / high-risk infant follow-up
Comfortable working with digital platforms
Balanced thinker: avoids over-pathologizing, yet clear on early detection
Strong communication skills — can translate medical nuance into parent-friendly language
Good to Have
Experience with tools such as:
Bayley Scales of Infant and Toddler Development
Ages and Stages Questionnaires
Exposure to neurodiversity-affirming frameworks
Prior teaching or content creation experience

Not emergency pediatrics
Not vaccination-only practice
Not a high-volume consultation treadmill
