Delivery Manager – Digital
Role Summary
The Digital Delivery Manager is responsible for end-to-end delivery of digital initiatives, ensuring solutions are delivered on time, within scope, budget, and quality expectations. The role acts as a bridge between business stakeholders, product teams, and technical delivery teams, with strong ownership of execution, governance, and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
Delivery & Execution
Own end-to-end delivery of digital programs, platforms, or transformation initiatives across web, mobile, cloud, and enterprise systems.
Plan, track, and manage delivery milestones, dependencies, risks, and mitigations.
Ensure adherence to delivery commitments on scope, timeline, cost, and quality.
Drive predictable and transparent delivery using Agile, Scrum, Kanban, or hybrid methodologies.
Stakeholder & Client Management
Act as the primary point of contact for business stakeholders and clients.
Translate business requirements into executable delivery plans.
Provide regular status updates, dashboards, and executive-level reporting.
Manage expectations, resolve escalations, and ensure high client satisfaction.
Team Management
Lead cross-functional teams including UX, engineering, QA, DevOps.
Foster a high-performance delivery culture focused on accountability and collaboration.
Support resource planning, onboarding, and performance management.
Governance & Risk Management
Establish delivery governance frameworks, standards, and best practices.
Identify delivery risks early and implement corrective actions.
Ensure compliance with security, regulatory, and organizational standards.
Financial & Commercial Oversight
Manage delivery budgets, forecasts, and financial tracking.
Support change requests, effort estimation, and commercial negotiations.
Ensure optimal utilization of resources and cost efficiency.
Continuous Improvement
Drive process improvements and delivery maturity across digital programs.
Leverage metrics (velocity, throughput, quality, CSAT) to improve outcomes.
Encourage adoption of modern tools, automation, and DevOps practices.
Required Skills & Experience
Experience
15+ years of experience in IT or digital delivery roles.
At least 5+ years of experience in project management having multiple teams.
Proven experience delivering large-scale digital platforms or transformation programs.
Strong background in Agile and scaled Agile delivery environments.
Skills
Strong delivery planning, execution, and risk management skills.
Excellent stakeholder communication and leadership abilities.
Solid understanding of digital technologies (web, mobile, APIs, cloud, CMS, data).
Experience with delivery management tool ( Azure DevOps).
Education & Certifications (Preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
Agile certifications (CSM, SAFe, PMI-ACP) or PMP preferred.
