Job Description:
We are seeking a highly driven, detail-oriented Program Manager to support our global portfolio by partnering closely with cross-functional teams in the U.S. and India. This role is ideal for someone who is a go-getter, thrives in ambiguity, and excels at driving alignment across geographically distributed teams.
The Program Manager will operate as an individual contributor responsible for enabling high-quality execution of key product ceremonies, improving operational processes, and ensuring clear communication and alignment across the portfolio. The ideal candidate brings strong program management fundamentals, exceptional stakeholder management, and a passion for process excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Execution & Governance:
Lead and continuously improve portfolio ceremonies such as planning sessions, review cycles, execution tracking, and cross-team alignment cadences.
Drive operational rigor by ensuring activities have clearly defined inputs, outputs, owners, and measurable outcomes.
Develop, refine, and document processes to enhance predictability and transparency in delivery.
Monitor and track program-level milestones, risks, dependencies, and issue resolution across multiple workstreams.
Stakeholder Management & Communication:
Serve as the primary liaison between onsite U.S. leadership and GCC teams, ensuring seamless communication and alignment.
Facilitate effective decision-making by preparing structured updates, program dashboards, and insights for leadership.
Influence without authority to drive commitments, clarity, and follow-through across cross-functional teams.
Partner with Product, Engineering, PMO, and other internal stakeholders to ensure programs are well-scoped, well-planned, and well-executed.
Data-Driven Planning & Reporting:
Support portfolio-level planning and prioritization using frameworks such as OKRs, Agile/Scaled Agile, and capacity planning.
Leverage data to inform decisions, identify trends, highlight execution risks, and recommend corrective actions.
Maintain program artifacts, ensuring accuracy and consistency across tools such as Jira, Confluence, and portfolio management systems.
Process Improvement & Operational Excellence:
Identify gaps and opportunities within existing workflows; propose and implement scalable improvements.
Standardize templates, communication artifacts, and documentation to enable consistency across teams.
Champion continuous improvement by piloting new methods, measuring impact, and iterating based on feedback.
Collaboration Across Geographies & Time Zones:
Work closely with U.S.-based teams, ensuring regular overlap with U.S. time zones for real-time collaboration.
Engage deeply with onsite teams in the GCC, ensuring alignment on goals, execution rhythm, and delivery expectations.
Required Qualifications:
5โ8 years of experience in Program Management or Technical Program Management.
Strong grounding in Agile and Scaled Agile methodologies, program planning, execution tracking, and risk management.
Experience in OKRs, data-driven planning, and using tools such as Jira, Confluence, and portfolio management platforms.
Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and facilitation skills.
Demonstrated ability to influence without authority and drive alignment across distributed teams.
Comfortable operating in environments with limited structure and evolving priorities.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
Located in India with the ability to work onsite at the GCC and overlap with U.S. hours.
Desired Skills:
Experience working in or with Retail Technology organizations (preferred but not required).
Exposure to portfolio-level planning, delivering to the budget and cross-functional execution models.
Ability and willingness to learn emerging technologies such as Generative AI and bring best practices into the organization.
