Unity Growth Fund is a Washington DC–based venture capital firm focused on private investments in cutting-edge technology companies. Our portfolio includes 25+ category-defining companies such as SpaceX, Databricks, Stripe, Anthropic, Figure AI, Cerebras (IPO-bound), and Robinhood (IPO).

As we scale rapidly, we are looking for a Chief of Staff to work closely with our senior leadership team and play a critical role in driving execution, operational excellence, and organizational alignment.

Role Overview

The Chief of Staff will act as a strategic and operational partner to leadership—ensuring priorities move forward, teams stay aligned, and critical initiatives get executed. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and enjoys turning strategy into action.

Key Responsibilities

Scaling the Team

- Partner with senior leadership to identify hiring needs and support team expansion - Drive onboarding and integration of new hires - Foster a high-performance, collaborative team culture

Operational Excellence

- Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure seamless execution - Optimize workflows, processes, and systems to improve efficiency

Cross-Functional Coordination

- Act as a central point of coordination across investment, finance, operations, and portfolio teams - Track key initiatives, timelines, and deliverables

Strategic & Leadership Support

- Support execution of strategic initiatives including fundraising, investor relations, and portfolio operations - Lead and execute special projects and high-priority initiatives

Execution & Problem Solving

- Drive initiatives from idea to completion - Identify bottlenecks and proactively solve operational challenges

What We're Looking For

- 5+ years of experience in executive, operations, or leadership roles - Proven ability to scale teams and execute complex projects - Strong problem-solving and multitasking capabilities - Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills - Solid understanding of business operations; VC/finance exposure is a plus - Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field (MBA preferred)
