Experience required: 1 to 4 years

Roles & Responsibilities:

1. Database Administration:

- Design, implement, and maintain Oracle database systems, ensuring high availability and disaster recovery. - Monitor database performance and optimize queries, indexes, and schema. - Perform regular backups and recovery procedures, ensuring data integrity. - Manage user access and security for database systems. - Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues and performance bottlenecks. - Implement and maintain database replication and clustering solutions. - Develop and enforce database standards, policies, and procedures.

Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Skills required:

- 2+ years of experience in database administration, specifically with Oracle databases. - Strong knowledge of SQL, PL/SQL, and database performance tuning. - Experience with database backup and recovery tools (RMAN, Data Pump). - Familiarity with middleware concepts, including clustering, load balancing, and session management. - Proficient in scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Python) for automation tasks. - Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus. - Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. - Strong communication and collaboration skills.
