Talasha has been mandated to hire an

Assistant Manager-Accounts & Finance

for a youth-focused fashion brand redefining daily wear for women in India. Having recently raised their pre-series A funding, the brand is growing exponentially and is looking for someone who will work closely with the Finance head to ensure accurate reporting, strong compliance, and seamless financial operations. Responsibilities - Accounting & Controllership -Lead & manage the accounting department, ensure an efficient book keeping process & adherence to the principles of accounts. Oversee monthly closure of accounts in line with applicable accounting standards, including provisions, accruals, and period-end adjustments. Financial Planning & Analysis- prepare annual budgets and forecasts, update them as necessary & implement financial strategies to achieve organisation's financial goals Taxation & Compliance - Handle income tax, GST, TDS & all relevant statutory compliances - including calculations, filing of returns, etc, coordinate with tax authorities for assessments & appeals, etc. Financial Reporting & Analysis -Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements for internal and external stakeholders, create MIS, Assist in preparing documents for fund raising or loan-related activities. Conduct regular variance analysis for incurred costs with standard & benchmark costs Treasury Management - Oversee cash flows, fund allocation, credit lines and ensure maintenance of optimal working capital Audit & Finalisation of Books - Coordinate with auditors for statutory, tax, and GST audits, finalizing financial statements Strategic Financial Management -Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making by senior management, Assist in negotiating contracts with buyers and vendors, including pricing agreements, Evaluate investment opportunities and support in due diligence processes Cross functional collaboration -Work with departmental heads across the business in supporting their financial activities, guiding them through financial process, and interpreting the progress

Good to Have - Prior experience managing end to end finance function - bookkeeping, taxation, MIS, etc Experience in inventory management & valuation preferred CA with 1+ years experience preferred Prior experience working in start ups

CTC - Upto Rs.15LPA (Basis last drawn) Location - HSR, Bangalore
