About the Role
As an Intern in the Founder’s Office at EaseMyTrip, you will work closely with the Founder and senior leadership team to support strategic initiatives, AI-driven projects, business performance tracking, and cross-functional coordination across the organization. Your role involves assisting in data analysis, preparing presentations, monitoring key business metrics, and contributing to AI-led transformation initiatives. You will gain direct exposure to leadership decision-making, investor communication, new business evaluations, and growth strategy across flights, hotels, buses, holidays, and emerging verticals. This position is ideal for a high-potential individual looking to develop strong strategic, analytical, and AI-driven problem-solving skills in a fast-paced travel-tech environment.
Role & Responsibilities
Business Performance Tracking: Assist in building and updating dashboards tracking GMV, revenue, margins, CAC, repeat rates, conversion rates, and vertical-wise profitability.
Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze business data, prepare structured reports, and highlight insights to support leadership decision-making.
AI & Automation Initiatives: Identify repetitive workflows and support implementation of AI tools and automation solutions to improve productivity and operational efficiency.
AI Use Case Research: Research and evaluate practical AI applications in pricing, personalization, customer service automation, fraud detection, and marketing optimization.
Presentation & Deck Preparation: Support preparation of investor decks, board materials, AI transformation updates, and internal strategy presentations.
Strategic & Competitive Research: Conduct structured research on competitors, industry trends, global travel-tech AI adoption, and new growth opportunities.
Financial Modeling Support: Assist in building basic financial models, scenario analysis, and profitability assessments for new initiatives.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Work with marketing, product, tech, finance, and operations teams to track progress on key strategic and AI initiatives.
Performance Review Support: Prepare monthly and quarterly performance summaries with data-backed insights for leadership discussions.
Meeting & Execution Follow-Ups: Document key discussion points from leadership meetings and track action items to ensure timely execution.
Preferred Candidate Profile
Strong Academic Background: Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, Business, or related fields.
Analytical & Quantitative Skills: Strong comfort with Excel and data analysis; familiarity with SQL, Python, or analytics tools is a plus.
Interest in AI & Digital Transformation: Curiosity about artificial intelligence, automation tools, and technology-led business optimization.
Structured Thinking Ability: Capable of breaking down complex problems into clear, logical frameworks.
Business Acumen: Basic understanding of unit economics, digital growth metrics, and financial performance indicators.
Presentation Skills: Ability to create clean, structured PowerPoint presentations with clear storytelling.
High Ownership & Initiative: Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
Strong Communication Skills: Clear written and verbal communication with the ability to summarize complex information simply.
