Data Analyst

About the Role We are seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst with strong SQL skills and experience in data visualization and reporting tools. The ideal candidate will be responsible for analyzing complex datasets, building reports and dashboards, and translating business requirements into data-driven solutions. This role requires someone who is comfortable working with multiple data systems, mapping data across schemas, and communicating insights effectively to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Write, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries to extract and analyze data. Develop and maintain interactive reports and dashboards using Power BI. Work with Snowflake for data warehousing, schema management, and query performance optimization. Build and automate complex Excel reports for recurring and ad-hoc business needs. Translate and map data from one schema/system to another, ensuring accuracy and consistency. Partner with business stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver actionable insights. Ensure data quality, accuracy, and integrity across multiple reporting platforms. Present findings and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Qualifications & Skills 4–7 years of experience as a Data Analyst or similar role. Strong proficiency in SQL (complex queries, stored procedures, optimization). Hands-on experience with Power BI and strong understanding of data modeling/DAX. Experience with Snowflake or other cloud-based data warehouses. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, Power Query, complex formulas, VBA a plus). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail. Experience in data mapping, schema translation, and system migrations. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications (nice to have) Exposure to ETL tools and data pipeline design. Knowledge of other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik) is an advantage. Certification in SQL, Power BI, or Snowflake.
