Sandfits has 3 foundries with a capacity of 60000 tons PA. Sandfits has a dedicated machine shop to deliver precision iron components to customers worldwide. Sandfits Foundries are located in and around Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu, India and has a certified IATF 16949 and ISO 14001.

Safety Officer

for one of the Foundry

The selected candidate will be responsible for developing, implementing and enforces OHS policies for high-risk environments, focusing on hazard identification (molten metal, heavy machinery, dust), PPE management (respirators, heat-resistant gear), emergency preparedness (fire, spills), LOTO Procedures, training (inductions, toolbox talks), accident investigation, and ensuring compliance with OSHA/Factories Act, bridging management needs with Operators safety for a robust safety culture.

Qualification

Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or Masters in Engineering specialising in Industrial Safety with minimum 3 to 5 of experience in a manufacturing organization.
