The Role
We're looking for a Senior AdTech Data Analyst who is experienced in Advanced SQL, Snowflake, and BI Visualisation (Tableau/PowerBI/Looker). You'll own the daily data integrity, pipeline validation, and insight generation across multiple clients and our evolving AdTech data product.
This isn't a pure back-office reporting role or a traditional data engineering role—we need people who understand AdTech metrics (CPM, CPA, ROAS, Incrementality), attribution modelling, and data quality assurance. You'll validate ETL migrations, troubleshoot pipeline breaks, and translate raw numbers into strategic recommendations for our account teams.
You'll work closely with our Head of Engineering & Product (based in India) to define the logic for our new SaaS tools. This role is execution-focused now—ensuring the "daily heartbeat" of our data—but as we scale our AI-augmented platform, you'll guide automation, not just push buttons.
Note: This is a long-term, full-time role with stability and ownership equivalent to a permanent core team member.
Responsibilities
Migration QA & Validation:
Independently validate new AdTech ETL pipelines during our 2026 infrastructure migration, comparing legacy systems against Snowflake to certify accuracy.
Daily Data Operations:
Ensure data for 100+ clients is flowing correctly from source to dashboard every morning; use SQL to trace and fix root causes when pipelines break.
Strategic Insights:
Translate performance data into commercial opportunities—analyze why a client's CPA or ROAS is shifting and provide the narrative to Account Managers before they ask.
Automation Logic:
Identify manual reporting steps and script them (SQL/Python) to automate workflows, effectively writing the blueprint for our new "Automated Client Reporting Module."
Product Feedback:
Act as the primary "Alpha Tester" for our internal tools, providing feedback that directly shapes the AdTech product roadmap.
Discrepancy Ownership:
Become the go-to authority for data accuracy; when a number looks wrong, you know exactly where to look in the warehouse.
What We're Looking For
Experience:
~4–7 years in Data Analytics or Analytics Engineering, with specific experience in AdTech (DSPs, SSPs, MMPs).
Advanced SQL Proficiency:
You don't just run queries; you write complex joins, window functions, and CTEs to compare large AdTech datasets.
Cloud DB Experience:
Hands-on experience with Snowflake, BigQuery, or Redshift.
Domain Knowledge:
Deep understanding of AdTech data (auction mechanics, log-level data, attribution models, and campaign metrics).
Visualization Skills:
Ability to explain complex data clearly using SQL-backed analysis and BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI, or Looker).
High Agency & Detail:
You spot problems and fix them without waiting for permission. You are the person who notices if a number is off by 0.1%.
Automation Mindset:
You hate manual tasks and actively look for ways to script or automate them.
Communication:
Excellent written communication for reporting and stakeholder updates.
