Job title: Contracts and Procurement Manager – Oil & Gas (Upstream)

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Managing the procurement process for goods and services essential for

upstream operations in the Oil & Gas sector

. Ensuring timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials and services required for activities such as Drilling/Workover campaigns, Offshore Platform Maintenance, and Marine operations involving upkeep of Floating Storage and Offloading Vessels Overseeing the entire lifecycle of contracts, from initiation to closure. Negotiating contract terms and conditions with suppliers and contractors to ensure favorable terms and mitigate risks. Monitoring contract performance and ensuring adherence to contractual obligations by all parties. Developing and implementing procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and corporate goals. Conducting market analysis to identify potential suppliers and optimize procurement processes. Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand project requirements and ensure procurement plans meet operational needs. Managing procurement budgets and ensuring cost-effective sourcing of goods and services.

Education and Work Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Supply Chain Management or a related field. Master's degree preferred. Minimum of 15 years of experience in contracts and procurement management in the Oil & Gas upstream sector. Strong understanding of contractual terms and conditions, as well as procurement best practices. Proven negotiation skills and ability to build effective relationships with suppliers and contractors. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Proficiency in contract management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
