Music Educator (Hindustani or Western Specialization)

Siddhim Global School is an upcoming girls’ residential school launching in June 2026. The school will initially offer Classes 3, 4, and 5 and will implement an innovative curriculum designed to develop confident, compassionate, and capable learners.

We are hiring a Music Educator. The selected candidate will specialize in either Hindustani Music or Western Music.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and implement an engaging music curriculum - Teach vocal and/or instrumental music within the candidate’s area of specialization - Form and guide choirs, bands, and ensembles - Encourage creativity, performance skills, and musical appreciation - Use digital tools for music composition and recording where applicable - Contribute to pastoral care within the residential school environment

Qualifications

Candidates should meet qualifications relevant to their area of specialization.

For Hindustani specialization:

- Prabhakar, Visharad, or Alankar certification from a recognized institution - OR B.A. or M.A. in Hindustani Classical Music

For Western specialization:

- Grade 6 or higher certification from Trinity, ABRSM, Rockschool, or London College of Music - OR Diploma or Degree in Western Music

Candidates should demonstrate proficiency in vocal and/or instrumental performance. Experience teaching children is preferred. Familiarity with music production tools is desirable.
