Key Responsibilities Conduct proactive threat-hunting activities using

Netscout

and related network visibility tools. Analyse network telemetry, packet data, and alerts to identify anomalous activities. Investigate suspicious traffic patterns, malware communication, and lateral movement. Work closely with SOC teams to enrich incidents and provide actionable threat intelligence. Develop new hunting hypotheses and detection logic based on evolving threats. Create and maintain threat-hunting reports, dashboards, and documentation. Participate in root cause analysis and recommend security improvements.

Skills & Competencies

Educational Qualification should be B.E./ B.Tech/ MCA/ M.Sc. in Computer Science or IT with 6+ years relevant experience Strong understanding of network protocols, TCP/IP, routing, and switching. Hands-on experience with

Netscout

or similar network monitoring tools. Knowledge of threat landscape, MITRE ATT&CK, and incident response. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Ability to work in a fast-paced SOC environment. Good Analytical & Problem Solving skills Able to communicate with technical staff/management Flexible to work after office and over weekend if required Highly motivated & customer centric
