An

SAP Delivery Lead

is a senior project management role responsible for overseeing the end-to-end delivery of SAP implementations, upgrades, and transformation initiatives.

Responsibilities The SAP Delivery Lead manages comprehensive project delivery activities, including: Project & Program Management:

Leading the complete delivery lifecycle from planning through cutover, ensuring adherence to timelines, quality standards, and budgets. This involves defining project scope in collaboration with key stakeholders, managing project milestones and dependencies, aligning project delivery to contractual commitments, and monitoring delivery performance through metrics and status reporting. Team & Vendor Coordination:

Managing consultants, external partners, and offshore resources to ensure effective collaboration and accountability. The role includes overseeing solution design, fit-gap analysis, functional specifications, testing strategy, and go-live planning. The delivery lead is responsible for the timely identification and resolution of delivery issues and risks Stakeholder Management:

Working closely with Business Process Owners, PMOs, and other domain leads to align delivery with operational needs. This includes translating delivery progress into clear updates for senior stakeholders and serving as the escalation point for critical issues. Governance & Strategy:

Driving project governance, delivery strategy, and ensuring adherence to SAP Activate or Agile delivery methodologies. The role may also involve supporting pre-sales activities and RFP responses when required.

Preferred Skills Experience:

Between

5 to 8 years

of total SAP experience, with a minimum of

5 years in a delivery or project management role

. Technical Knowledge:

Strong understanding of

SAP BTP, SAP S/4HANA

(on-premise or cloud) and associated technologies. Experience managing end-to-end SAP implementations or large-scale rollouts across multiple modules (Business Technology Platform, Analytics, at least 2 out of the following modules: Finance, Materials Management, Sales & Distribution, Production Planning). Project Management:

Proficiency with project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or ServiceNow. In-depth knowledge of agile project management methodologies and frameworks. Leadership & Soft Skills:

Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and communication abilities. Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work in fast-paced, dynamic environments, managing multiple concurrent projects.
