We are looking for a high-energy, industry-connected
Placement Manager
who can strengthen corporate partnerships, expand recruiter networks, and drive measurable placement outcomes across programs.
Role Summary
The Placement Manager will lead institutional placement strategy, corporate outreach, employer engagement, internship development, and student career readiness initiatives.
The role requires strong relationship-building skills, structured pipeline management, target orientation, and the ability to align academic outputs with industry expectations.
This is a performance-driven position with high visibility and direct impact on institutional reputation.
Key Responsibilities
1. Corporate Relations & Industry Connect
Develop and expand strong relationships with recruiters across varied sectors.
Identify new corporate partnerships for final placements and internships.
Maintain continuous engagement with HR leaders, business heads, and industry decision-makers.
Represent iLEAD at corporate meets, networking forums, and industry platforms.
2. Placement Strategy & Execution
Develop annual placement strategy aligned with institutional goals.
Drive end-to-end campus recruitment process including pre-placement talks, scheduling, coordination, and closure.
Achieve defined placement targets in terms of number, quality, and compensation benchmarks.
Ensure structured tracking of offers, conversions, and joining ratios.
3. Internship & Industry Exposure
Facilitate internship opportunities across programs.
Ensure meaningful industry exposure aligned with curriculum and experiential learning goals.
Track internship quality and employer feedback.
4. Student Career Readiness
Collaborate with academic teams to ensure industry-aligned skill development.
Organize grooming sessions, mock interviews, resume workshops, and corporate readiness programs.
Mentor students on career pathways and sector-specific opportunities.
5. Data, Reporting & Analytics
Maintain structured placement MIS, recruiter database, and performance reports.
Track KPIs such as placement percentage, average CTC, sector diversity, and repeat recruiters.
Prepare periodic reports for institutional leadership.
6. Branding & Employer Engagement
Strengthen iLEAD’s employer brand positioning.
Build long-term strategic corporate partnerships beyond placements.
Support collaborations such as guest lectures, live projects, and industry panels.
Essential Qualifications
Graduate in any discipline (MBA / PGDM preferred).
Minimum
6+ years of experience
in placements, corporate relations, or talent acquisition.
Proven experience in campus placements within a college, university, or similar institution preferred.
