Job Title - Senior Engineering Lead (Founding India Team)

Job Location - Pune, Maharashtra

Salary Budget - INR 30 lacs

Our client is building our core India engineering hub — starting with a Senior Technical Lead who will own architecture, lead the team, and work directly with executive leadership.

What You Will Lead

- Architecture, design, and development of core systems:

high-volume ingestion pipelines

agent telemetry + observability engine

analytics & risk-classification platform

LLM reasoning, eval layers, and agent-behavior models

- End-to-end delivery: design → architecture → implementation → performance. - Lead and mentor a high-caliber engineering team across Python, LLMs, front-end, and DevOps. - Collaborate directly with executive leadership on roadmap, platform evolution, and scaling decisions. - Institute world-class engineering standards (quality, security, reliability, testing). - Guide UI development for complex agent-behavior visualizations. - Recruit, upskill, and shape the future India engineering team.

Tech Stack

- Backend: Python, FastAPI, async frameworks - AI/LLM: Open AI, Anthropic, embeddings, RAG, vector DBs, eval frameworks - Architecture: microservices, distributed systems - Frontend: Angular (modern, modular UI) - Pipelines / DevOps: CI/CD, observability, API gateways, containerized deployments

You do not need to know all pieces — but you must love solving hard, ambiguous, high-scale

engineering problems.

What We’re Looking For

- 8–12 years of software engineering experience. - Strong system design & architecture capability. - Production-grade Python + API design experience. - Interest or experience in AI/LLM development. - Experience mentoring or leading developers. - Strong execution discipline in an agile product environment. - Excellent communication and ownership mindset.

Nice to Have

- Experience with observability or security products. - Experience in building data pipelines, analytics, or high-scale systems. - Prior early-stage startup or founding-team responsibilities.
