Data Analyst

Role Summary The Data Analyst will be responsible for designing and managing analytics dashboards, writing complex SQL queries, and providing actionable insights to stakeholders. The role requires strong expertise in Amazon QuickSight, SQL, and data modeling, with a focus on product analytics, user behavior, and business performance tracking. The candidate will work independently to gather business requirements and recommend analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities Design, optimize, and manage dashboards using Amazon QuickSight. Write complex SQL queries and optimize query performance. Perform data analysis focused on product analytics, user behavior, and business performance. Gather minimal inputs from clients, understand business needs, and proactively recommend analytics dashboards and reporting structures. Translate business questions into measurable metrics and impactful dashboards. Communicate insights clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Integrate nonprofit Monitoring & Evaluation (M&E) metrics into product analytics.

Required Skills Strong proficiency in Amazon QuickSight (dashboard design, optimization, and management). Strong expertise in SQL (complex queries, performance optimization, relational data structures). Solid experience (2–3 years) in data analysis, specifically product analytics, user behavior, and business performance tracking. Ability to work independently and communicate insights effectively. Good-to-have Skills Familiarity with additional data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI, Google Data Studio). Knowledge of Python/R, Google Sheets, or Excel for data processing and automation. Experience with mobile analytics tools (Firebase, Mixpanel, Amplitude). Experience with A/B testing, segmentation, cohort analysis. Understanding of UX/UI principles as they relate to data storytelling. Previous experience in the nonprofit sector (social impact, health, education).

Qualifications Relevant degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field. Certification in data analytics or visualization tools (preferred).

Additional Information Notice period: As per current employment. Project duration: 3–6 months (may extend after 6 months). Shift timings: Flexible, remote. Client-specific requirement: 2 technical rounds and 1 project suitability round in the interview process.
