Kauvery Group of Hospitals launched its first hospital more than two decades ago. The founders of Kauvery Hospital were determined on creating world-class healthcare facilities that shall be affordable. The founding doctors set off on this dream in 1999 with a 30-bedded hospital in Trichy, with a single-minded focus on offering the best-in-class healthcare, with a personal touch. This was a very new concept in a tier 2 city like Trichy which lacked a tertiary care hospital at the time. Today, Kauvery is a multi-specialty hospital chain with 2250+ beds in six locations including Trichy, Chennai, Salem, Hosur, Tirunelveli and Bengaluru. With twelve hospitals and a workforce of over 8000+, Kauvery’s mission is to provide exemplary secondary and tertiary care.

Internship Overview

We are looking for a creative and enthusiastic Video Editor Intern to join our team. This internship is ideal for students or recent graduates who want hands-on experience in video editing, content creation, and digital media production.

The intern will work closely with the marketing/creative team to edit engaging video content for social media, website, and promotional campaigns.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist in editing raw footage into short-form and long-form videos - Add subtitles, music, transitions, and basic motion graphics - Create reels/shorts for platforms like Instagram and YouTube - Trim and assemble video clips according to scripts or briefs - Ensure brand consistency in video style and tone - Support the team with revisions and feedback implementation - Organize and manage video files and assets

Skills & Requirements

- Basic knowledge of video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or similar - Understanding of video formats and social media aspect ratios - Creativity and attention to detail - Willingness to learn and take constructive feedback - Basic knowledge of motion graphics (a plus) - Strong time management skills

Eligibility

- Students or recent graduates in Media, Mass Communication, Film, Design, or related fields - Portfolio/showreel (academic or personal projects accepted)
