Backend Developer – Laravel

About the Role We are looking for a backend developer

with strong Laravel experience

to join our engineering team. The role involves building and maintaining backend services, APIs, and databases for scalable web applications. You will collaborate with frontend, QA, and product teams to deliver reliable and maintainable solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain backend services using

Laravel Build and consume

REST APIs Work with relational databases ( MySQL / PostgreSQL ) Write clean, maintainable, and testable code Participate in code reviews and sprint discussions Troubleshoot and resolve backend issues Follow best practices for performance and security

Required Skills 7-10+ years of backend development experience Strong hands-on experience with

Laravel Good understanding of

PHP , REST APIs Experience with

MySQL / PostgreSQL Familiarity with Agile development practices Good communication skills

Nice to Have API testing experience Exposure to queues, caching, or background jobs Basic knowledge of CI/CD or Docker Experience in product-based teams
