Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Microsoft Data Engineering and Analytics Manager to lead our enterprise data
platform initiatives across Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Fabric. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in modern data engineering,
analytics architecture, and Microsoft's unified data ecosystem. This role involves leading a high-performing team,
defining data strategy, and delivering scalable, secure, and business-driven analytics solutions.
Key Responsibilities
∙Lead the architecture, design, and implementation of modern data platforms using Azure and Microsoft
Fabric.
∙Design and implement solutions leveraging:
- Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Data Factory, Lakehouse, Warehouse, Real-Time Analytics)
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Databricks
- Azure Data Lake Storage
- Power BI (including Fabric-integrated semantic models)
- SQL Server / Azure SQL
∙Architect end-to-end data solutions including ingestion, transformation, modeling, visualization, and
governance.
∙Manage and mentor a team of data engineers, analytics engineers, and BI developers.
∙Establish enterprise data governance, security, compliance, and data quality frameworks across Azure
and Fabric environments.
∙Drive Lakehouse architecture and modern data warehousing patterns.
∙Oversee ETL/ELT pipelines using Fabric Data Factory and Azure-native services.
∙Implement CI/CD and DevOps best practices for Fabric and Azure data workloads.
∙Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate analytical requirements into scalable and high-
performance solutions.
∙Optimize cost, performance, and scalability of Azure and Fabric workloads.
∙Stay updated with Microsoft Fabric roadmap and evolving analytics capabilities.
Required Skills & Qualifications
∙Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or related field.
∙8+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics, or data platform architecture.
∙3+ years of experience leading technical teams.
∙Strong hands-on expertise in:
- Microsoft Fabric (Lakehouse, Warehouse, Data Factory, OneLake)
- Azure Data Factory
- Azure Synapse Analytics
- Azure Databricks
- Azure SQL / SQL Server
- Power BI
∙Strong knowledge of Lakehouse architecture and modern data platform design.
∙Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark, and data modeling techniques.
∙Experience with Delta Lake and medallion architecture.
∙Understanding of data governance, security models, and role-based access control.
∙Experience implementing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps.
∙Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
∙Microsoft Certifications such as:
- Azure Data Engineer Associate
- Fabric Analytics Engineer Associate
- Azure Solutions Architect Expert
∙Experience with real-time analytics (Event Hub, Fabric Real-Time Analytics, Stream Analytics).
∙Experience integrating AI/ML workloads within Fabric or Azure.
∙Experience in enterprise-scale digital transformation programs.
