Warehouse Manager

Job Purpose Warehouse Manager is responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling all warehouse operations, including raw materials, finished goods, spare parts, and supporting materials. The role ensures inventory accuracy, efficient material flow, safety compliance, and alignment with production and delivery schedules. The position also supports cost control, space optimization, and continuous improvement initiatives (5R and Lean implementation).

Job Specification Manage daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, and dispatching materials and finished goods. Ensure accurate inventory control and maintain stock accuracy. Monitor material availability to support smooth production and on-time delivery. Supervise and manage warehouse staff performance and discipline. Ensure proper implementation of FIFO and good storage practices. Maintain warehouse safety standards and implement 5R practices. Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, and Logistics teams. Identify and implement improvements to increase warehouse efficiency and reduce costs.

Job Qualification Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Management, or related field. Minimum 8 years of experience in warehouse/logistics in manufacturing. Minimum 3–5 years in a supervisory or managerial role. Experience in furniture or wood frame manufacturing is highly preferred. Strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory control. Knowledge of material flow in manufacturing environment. Familiar with ERP systems and warehouse management systems (WMS). Good understanding of FIFO, stock control, and cycle counting. Experience implementing 5R and Lean principles is an advantage. Strong leadership and team management skills. Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
