Receptionist

We are seeking a friendly and professional Receptionist to join our team at Raffles Hotels & Resorts Jakarta. The role is essential to delivering an exceptional first impression to guests.

Raffles Hotels & Resorts is a global luxury brand, comprising 20 ultra‑luxury hotels and resorts across key international destinations. The Jakarta property is located in the heart of the Kuningan district and offers exceptional facilities including a spa, pool, meeting rooms and a state‑of‑the‑art fitness centre.

Job Responsibilities

Greet guests warmly and serve as the face of the hotel.

Handle check‑ins and check‑outs efficiently.

Manage reservations and provide information about hotel facilities, services, and local attractions.

Assist guests with inquiries, resolve any issues or concerns, and ensure their needs are met during their stay.

Process payments and maintain accurate guest records.

Coordinate with other hotel departments as needed.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum high‑school diploma or equivalent. Additional training or certification in hospitality or guest services is an advantage.

Experience: Prior experience in a similar role is preferred, ideally in a luxury hotel or upscale hospitality setting.

Language Skills: Proficiency in English is required. Fluency in other languages will be a strong advantage.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, colleagues, and other departments.

Guest Service Orientation: Demonstrated passion for delivering exceptional guest service. Friendly, professional, and empathetic approach with the ability to proactively anticipate and resolve guest needs.

Technical Skills: Good command of computer systems, including hotel management and reservation software, as well as Microsoft Office.

Organizational Skills: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently, including guest inquiries, payments, reservations, and record‑keeping.

Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in handling guest information, billing, and identifying guest preferences.

Professional Appearance: Well‑groomed and professional presentation at all times.
