Job Description
PT MOOD Bali Foods is currently seeking an experienced Accountant / Accounting Manager who specializes in the Food and Beverage (F&B) industry. We are looking for a professional with a deep understanding of accounting principles and practices, who can manage financial functions in a dynamic F&B environment. This role is pivotal for ensuring the financial health and compliance of our company.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Management : Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Ensure financial practices are in line with statutory regulations and internal policies.
Accounting Practices : Handle general ledger accounting, payroll, accounts payable and receivable. Prepare accurate and timely financial statements and reports. Build and integrate accounting and POS system from outlets and partners with ERP and Central system.
Cost Control : Implement effective cost-control measures, specifically tailored to the F&B sector. Analyze food and beverage costs and margins to ensure profitability.
Compliance and Auditing : Ensure compliance with all financial regulations, authorities, Tax authority, Coordinate and lead regular audits, both internal and external.
Purchasing & Procurement : Negotiate prices for kitchen equipment, supplies, and stock.
Government Relations : Handle communication with government agencies (BPJS, Tax Office, BPOM). Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain documentation. Build and maintain positive relationships with authorities.
Team Leadership : Lead and develop the team, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
Business Insights : Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management, particularly in areas affecting the F&B business.
Stakeholder Communication : Maintain clear and effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or similar qualification is preferred.
Extensive experience in accounting, with a specific focus on the F&B industry.
Proficient in financial software and MS Office Suite.
Strong understanding of F&B operational dynamics and their financial implications.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Fluency in English.

We are looking for a Finance & Accounting Staff to support our day to day accounting operations and tax compliance activities. This role is crucial in ensuring accurate financial records, timely reporting, and adherence to tax regulations. Key Responsibilities
General Accounting: Record manual journal entries (e.g., depreciation and adjustments) and support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing processes.
Balance Sheet Review: Perform inventory reconciliations and support AR/AP aging analysis and reconciliation.
Taxation: Review and prepare tax-related documentation. Collaborate with external tax consultants to ensure timely and accurate filings, and maintain proper tax records.
Financial Statements & Reporting: Assist in preparing financial statements in line with applicable accounting standards and ensure accurate record-keeping.
Audit Support: Provide required documentation and information for internal and external audits.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in accounting, finance, or audit (experience in an accounting firm is a plus).

Experience using Accurate Online Software (or other accounting software) is preferred.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible as a liaison person in tax related matters and government related authorities in Labuan.
Liaison with external advisors in relation to income tax return and compliance requirements.
Liaison with government authorities visit to Labuan office and on tax incentive application for projects or new investment.
Perform month end and year end close for both US GAAP & Local GAAP, including accruals, prepayment amortization, deposits, inter-company charge back, audit adjustment, misc journal entries, tax corrections and monthly accruals.
Maintenance of Inter-company sub-ledger.
Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliation for those accounts under GL's ownership.
Prepare Balance Sheet Package (BSP) for review with Site Controllers and corporate.
Perform bank reconciliation for both BoA and local bank.
Preparation of interim & year-end audit schedules.
Supervise and manage the performance of immediate subordinates through feedback and coaching.
Manage projects / assignments and process improvements.
Prepare weekly / monthly / quarterly report and presentation deck for management.
Proactively challenge the current processes and develop business process improvements.
Act as Labuan Branch Office Manager and general administration of the branch operations.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Accounting/Finance related working experience is preferred.
Good written and spoken English.
