Senior Business Analyst – Finance & Accounting

We are currently hiring a Senior Business Analyst specializing in Finance and Accounting systems to help design intelligent enterprise solutions and support the development of AI-driven business platforms.

Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Senior Business Analyst – Finance & Accounting, located in Jakarta, Indonesia. The Senior Business Analyst will analyze financial and accounting workflows within organizations and translate those requirements into functional specifications for enterprise AI systems.

You will work closely with consultants, product managers, and engineering teams to ensure that financial processes such as reporting, budgeting, reconciliation, and compliance can be integrated into intelligent enterprise platforms. You will also collaborate with technical teams developing Straitpoint’s enterprise AI systems, helping ensure that real-world financial workflows are accurately reflected in system design and product capabilities.

This role plays a critical part in bridging business operations, finance domain expertise, and technology development.

Key Responsibilities Business Analysis • Analyze finance and accounting workflows and identify opportunities for automation and AI-driven insights • Translate business processes into functional requirements for enterprise AI systems Enterprise AI System Design • Contribute to the design of enterprise AI platforms focused on finance and accounting workflows • Work with product managers and engineering teams to define system capabilities and scalable financial modules System Design & Documentation • Develop business requirement documents (BRD), functional specifications, and workflow diagrams • Define reporting logic, data structures, and automation rules for financial processes Collaboration & Testing • Facilitate discovery sessions with finance stakeholders and subject matter experts • Support product testing and validate that system functionality aligns with real operational workflows

Qualifications 5–10 years of experience in business analysis, finance systems, or enterprise consulting Strong understanding of finance and accounting processes, including financial reporting, budgeting, and reconciliation Experience in the Finance and Accounting domains Experience translating business requirements into system specifications

Preferred Experience • Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite • Experience with enterprise data platforms and analytics tools • Experience working with automation or AI-driven finance systems • Background in consulting or enterprise transformation projects

Work Location This role is based in Straitpoint’s Jakarta office in Sudirman. Team members are expected to work primarily from the office to enable close collaboration with consulting and engineering teams.
