Associate Dimension Control Tech

Job Description Job Overview: The Associate Dimension Control Technician supports dimensional control activities across various stages of fabrication and construction projects. This role exists to assist in performing accurate measurements, applying surveying methods, and ensuring compliance with relevant codes and specifications under the guidance of senior staff. Responsibilities Key Tasks and Responsibilities: General Technical Skills: Assist DC Surveyor in performing dimensional control survey Familiar with safe working practices, quality standards, and productivity expectations. Able to use basic survey measuring equipment (e.g., auto level, total station). Familiar with standard surveying methods and project stages. Familiar with relevant codes and specifications. Able to work collaboratively with other disciplines and departments. Basic operation of AutoCAD and BestFit calculation program. Fabrication, Assembly, and Erection Basic land layout and layout (footprint, quarter, reference, etc) Assist in checking items related jacket/deck components under supervision. Assist in checking fabricated pipe spools. Lampson positioning and monitoring Monitoring during load-out and settlement surveys. Essential Qualifications and Education: Associate degree of geomatic or civil engineering, Senior high school graduate with relevant experience (1 year) Basic knowledge of method measurement Basic AutoCAD and dimensional survey calculation software

Qualifications Essential Qualifications and Education: Senior high school graduate, prefer 2 years Diploma in Technical Engineering or Civil Engineering Good knowledge of Surveying Instruments Computer Literate in Auto Cad and MS Office packages Able to use basic survey measuring equipment Able to apply basic surveying methods Able to do survey for all stages Familiar to implement code and specification
