The Role As Business Development Manager you are a key part of our growth engine. You always meet your targets, you like to compete and love to win! As responsible for keeping our sales funnel well stacked and to ensure customer satisfaction you keep the engine running at a high pace. This opportunity will teach you how to successfully manage a complex B2B sales process and to become a master of key account management tasks.

Responsibilities • Interact with customers to sell products and provide professional customer service in a timely manner, including after sales services • Generate leads, credentials pitch, solution pitch, negotiation, close and follow up • Responsible for the development and achievement of sales targets • Develop and execute strategies to drive business into new and existing markets • Develop new business segments and promote innovative ideas for business growth • Launching new projects to increase market penetration • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules etc • Recommend changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments • Prepare and maintain accurate records of all proposals, contracts and correspondence with clients • Constantly engage current customers by keeping them updated on the company’s new products • Any additional responsibility as and when required by the company.

Qualifications Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Food Technology, Food Science, Chemistry, Biology, or a related field. Minimum 2–3 years of experience in sales, technical support, or business development in the food ingredients or flavor industry. Direct experience with yeast extract, umami enhancers, savory applications, or food additives is a strong plus. Strong interpersonal, presentation, and negotiation skills. High proficiency in English (spoken and written); fluency in Bahasa Indonesia is required. Self-driven, proactive, and comfortable in a fast-paced, target-oriented environment. Excellent organizational and analytical skills, with strong commercial awareness.

Additional Requirements Based in Jakarta, Indonesia. Willing to travel regularly within Indonesia (up to 30–40%). A strong team player with the ability to work independently. Experience working with cross-cultural teams or Chinese companies is a plus.
