Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Prepare, review, and finalize legal documents for assigned corporate action projects (M&A, joint venture, financing, restructuring).
Maintain and update compliance registers and prepare periodic monitoring reports.
Manage timely and accurate submission of regulatory and industry reports.
Monitor subsidiary governance, including corporate documents, licenses, and reporting obligations.
Identify, assess, and track legal and compliance risks, ensuring mitigation actions are implemented.
Coordinate with internal departments, external counsel, regulators, and other stakeholders.
Lead the development or enhancement of the divisionโs Business Process Mapping (BPM) and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
Qualifications
Minimum a Bachelorโs degree in Law (SH) with 8โ10 years of relevant experience in corporate legal, compliance, or regulatory roles.
Strong understanding of corporate law, commercial contracts, and regulatory requirements.
Experience supporting corporate transactions and group/subsidiary structures, including preparation of transaction frameworks and timelines and commitment to follow agreed schedules.
Excellent drafting, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities, and effectively collaborate within a team.
High level of integrity and professionalism.
Preferred: relevant masterโs degree, valid and registered Advocate License, and/or proficiency in Chinese for professional or active verbal communication.
