Job Description

Providing administrative support to the People and Culture department

Managing communication channels, including email, phone, and internal messaging systems

Scheduling meetings, interviews, and other appointments for the team

Preparing and organizing documents, reports, and presentations

Maintaining employee records and HR databases

Assisting with the recruitment process, including posting job ads and coordinating interviews

Supporting the onboarding process for new hires

Coordinating company events and team-building activities

Assisting in developing and implementing HR policies and procedures

Helping organize training and development programs

Managing office supplies and equipment

Taking minutes during meetings and distributing them to relevant parties

Assisting with payroll and benefits administration

Supporting performance management processes

Contributing to creating a positive work environment and company culture

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related field preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent verbal and written communication abilities

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

Problem-solving and critical thinking skills

Customer service-oriented attitude

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information

Basic understanding of HR practices and procedures

Excellent time management and ability to multitask

Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment

Familiarity with HRIS systems and databases

Adaptability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies

Basic knowledge of employment laws and regulations

Ability to work independently and take initiative

Positive attitude and enthusiasm for contributing to company culture

Additional Information

Experience is an asset

Prior experience working with Opera or a related system

Fluency in English

Additional languages are a plus
