Construction Manager - Data Centre Projects

Overview We are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to lead the delivery of complex data centre fit-out projects in Indonesia.

This is a hands-on, site-based leadership role requiring a broad construction background to oversee multi-disciplinary delivery, including MEP & Architectural workstreams within live critical environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead all on-site construction activities for hyperscale data centre fit-outs, ensuring delivery against design specifications, quality standards and stringent safety protocols

Coordinate and manage MEP, Architectural contractors/subcontractors, resolving interface clashes and ensuring seamless system integration

Own project programmes and milestones, monitoring progress against baseline schedules and implementing recovery strategies to maintain critical path

Serve as primary site representative, liaising directly with developer clients, design consultants and operations teams on progress, risk and commercial matters

Enforce health, safety and environmental compliance appropriate to mission-critical infrastructure with zero-downtime tolerance

Oversee site logistics, temporary works, commissioning handover and final snagging to operational readiness

Requirements

10+ years’ construction management experience with demonstrable track record on data centre fit-out, mission-critical or heavy MEP infrastructure projects

Proven ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams on technically complex, fast-track builds

Solid understanding of data centre critical systems: power distribution, cooling topologies, fire suppression and containment strategies

Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Strong commercial acumen and familiarity with construction management forms of contract

Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to interface confidently at senior client and consultant level
