Responsibilities
Provide legal advice and guidance to management and staff on a wide range of legal issues, including contracts, employment law, intellectual property, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance.
Interpret laws, rulings, and regulations affecting the organization and advise on their implications.

Draft, review agreements, and legal documents (e.g. client agreements, partnership agreements, MOUs, NDAs).
Ensure that contracts comply with legal requirements and protect the organizationโs interests.
Monitor and ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and industry standards.
Comply with regulatory and industry standard reporting (LKPM, SINAS, etc)
Represent the organization in legal proceedings, including negotiations, and mediations (if necessary)
Manage relationships with external legal counsel and oversee litigation matters.
Develop strategies to resolve disputes efficiently and cost-effectively.
Protect the organizationโs intellectual property (e.g., trademarks, patents, copyrights).
Manage IP registrations, renewals, and enforcement actions.
Liaise with external stakeholders, including regulatory authorities, legal counsel, and business partners.
Communicate legal updates and changes to relevant departments

Design and deliver legal training programs for employees.
Ensure employees understand their responsibilities under legal policies and regulations.
Ensure the organization adheres to corporate governance principles and best practices.
Prepare and file legal documents, such as annual reports, board resolutions, and meeting minutes.
Advise on corporate structure, mergers, acquisitions, and other business transactions.
Draft and review organizational policies to ensure they align with legal requirements and best practices.
Update policies in response to changes in laws or regulation.
Responsible for guiding and supervising Legal Officer/Senior Officer and Legal Admin
Monitor and ensure that contracts provide/creates by the legal officer/senior officer comply with legal requirements and protect the organizationโs interests.
Monitor and ensure the company complies with regulatory and industry standard reporting
Educational Background
Bachelorโs degree in Law (LL.B), preferably with a focus on Corporate Law, Business Law, or related fields.
Holding a Masterโs degree (LL.M) or relevant legal certifications is a plus.
Work Experience
5+ years of experience in legal roles, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or assistant managerial position.
Proven experience in corporate legal advisory, contract management, and regulatory compliance.
Experience working in industries such as financial services, technology, or corporate organizations is preferred.
