Job Description
This role is a temporary based role for 3 months' timeline.
We are looking for a detail‑oriented Tax Compliance Staff to support monthly tax compliance and reconciliation activities. This role is responsible for tax equalization, tax reporting support, and coordination with external tax consultants. The ideal candidate has strong Excel skills, solid tax knowledge, and prior experience using Indonesian tax applications.
Key Responsibilities
Perform monthly tax equalization, including:
PPh 23 equalization and analysis by type of service, royalty, and license.
PPh 4(2) equalization based on service categories.
VAT Output vs Gross Revenue reconciliation.
VAT Input vs PPh reconciliation, including cost and DPP analysis.
Conduct General Ledger to Tax Return (SPT) equalization.
Analyze financial statements (Profit & Loss and Balance Sheet) related to tax reporting.
Prepare and submit tax data to external tax consultants for compliance purposes.
Maintain organized, accurate, and well‑structured tax documentation and filing systems.
Handle tax‑related email correspondence and internal communications.
Provide tax insights and guidance to users outside the tax department when needed.
Stay updated on latest tax regulations and ensure compliance.
Requirements
Minimum 1–3 years of experience in tax reporting, tax compliance, or tax‑accounting roles.
Strong understanding of PPh (including PPh 23 and PPh 4(2)) and VAT (PPN).
Experienced in using Indonesian tax applications such as DJP Online, e‑Faktur, foretax, and e‑SPT.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (SUMIFS, VLOOKUP, logical formulas, Pivot Table).
Good understanding of tax corrections (positive & negative).
Able to work under high workload with strong attention to detail.
