**This role is predominantly available via home-office with a short once-monthly trip to site in the Walloon region of Belgium**

Business Development Manager – Space Products GTS Space is working with a company that designs and manufactures advanced imaging and electronic systems for demanding applications, including space missions. With deep expertise in high-performance hardware and mission-critical technology, they are expanding their commercial team to accelerate global growth within their Space Products portfolio. This role will focus initially on driving adoption of

space-qualified camera cores , building a strong international pipeline and converting high-value opportunities into signed contracts. The role As Business Development Manager, you will take full ownership of the commercial cycle — from early lead generation through to contract signature and handover to engineering and product teams. This is a highly visible role combining technical sales, strategic account development and market intelligence within the global space ecosystem

Key responsibilities End-to-end business development Build, qualify and close opportunities for space camera core products Manage the full sales lifecycle: discovery of mission needs and constraints, solution shaping (interfaces, optics, on-board processing), proposal development, negotiation, closing and structured handover to R&D and product teams Go-to-market strategy Develop and execute the go-to-market plan for Space IR Camera Cores across target segments such as Earth Observation, In-Orbit Services, small satellite constellations, primes and New Space companies Create and manage structured account plans for strategic customers and partners Own product positioning, clearly articulating measurable technical and commercial benefits Ecosystem development & partnerships Build and maintain a strong international network across the space value chain, including primes, payload integrators, subsystem providers and optics partners Market intelligence & roadmap contribution Systematically gather and structure market feedback, including customer requirements, qualification constraints, pricing expectations and competitive positioning Develop a clear view of trends, segmentation, buyer journeys and competitive landscape Translate insights into actionable input for product and engineering teams to refine roadmap and value proposition Forecasting & reporting Maintain accurate pipeline, funnel visibility and revenue forecasts aligned with management objectives Track KPIs including pipeline coverage, conversion rates, sales cycle length and win/loss analysis What we’re looking for 5+ years’ experience in

business development or technical sales

within space, imaging, embedded electronics or high-tech B2B sectors Proven ability to sell

technically complex products Strong stakeholder management skills across engineering, product management and project teams Experience within

space, defence or advanced imaging

is highly advantageous Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable presenting to both engineering teams and executive-level decision-makers Willingness to travel internationally as required
